We are committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of employees, volunteers and every visitor who accesses our building, uses our facilities, or participates in our activities and programmes.
Freelands Foundation’s staff are all responsible for implementing the Foundation’s safeguarding procedures. We also recognise the important role that visitors can play in helping us to keep Freelands Foundation safe. If you are concerned about your own wellbeing or safety, or that of anyone else within our premises or engaging with our offsite programmes, please speak to a member of Freelands Foundation staff.
We respond to any concerns or incidents promptly and with care. We follow rigorous procedures to protect those in our care and ensure that all our staff and volunteers are safely recruited and fully trained in safeguarding best practices. We also ensure our partners adhere to these principles.
From exhibitions and events, to workshops, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to supporting those who share concerns and working closely with relevant agencies to ensure everyone’s safety.
We have a Safeguarding Policy which is made available to all colleagues and is reviewed annually by our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
