Join the participating artists, exhibition curator for a discursive walkthrough of the Freelands Painting Prize 2024 exhibition, on Wednesday 30 October, 6:30-8pm.
Programme Curator Giulia Vandelli will be accompanied by writer and art critic Michael Archer, a member of the prize’s judging panel and the author of the exhibition’s accompanying essay, ‘Spaces of Contest’. Together, they will offer a deeper understanding of the featured works, with the artists sharing personal reflections on their exhibited pieces and studio practices – delving further into the impact and influence of their respective art school curriculums on their graduating practice.
